Booking & Payment
By booking a room(s) at the Bird’s Nest Bed & Breakfast, you and all members of your party agree and are bound to the Terms & Conditions detailed below.
We require a valid credit / debit card when booking to confirm your reservation and reserve the right to charge your card as detailed below in the event of a no-show or should the booking be cancelled as per our Cancellation Policy.
However, in addition to credit and debit cards, guests may pay for their stay using cash or Venmo.
Cancelation Policy
While we understand that travel plans can change, because we are a small, family-run business, a minimum of 7 days’ notice is required for cancellation.
If plans change unexpectedly, and you call within 24 hours of your confirmed reservation, you will be refunded 50% of your deposit. Otherwise, you will be responsible for the full amount.
However, if cancelled on the day of arrival or for a no-show, the total amount of the reservation will be charged.
Reservations for three or more rooms or whole-house bookings will not receive a refund if not cancelled within 7 days.
No refund will be given if you cancel the remainder of your stay.
Check In & Departure Times
Check In is at 3:00pm and Check Out is at 11:00am.
If you need to arrive early or want a late checkout, please let us know.
Parking
Parking at the Bird’s Nest is free; however, we do not accept liability for any damage or theft to vehicles parked on the property.
Liability
We reserve the right to charge for any damage or loss caused by yourself or a member of your party for the replacement, cleaning or repair of any item(s) belonging to Bird’s Nest Bed and Breakfast.
In these events, payment for any such damage or loss can be charged to your credit/debit card without prior consent being required for the costs incurred.
By making a booking you are accepting responsibility for any damage or loss caused by yourself or a member of your party, including any pets. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid to the provider upon demand.
Lost Keys
On arrival, you will be given a room key, and it is your responsibility to return it when checking out. Loss of keys will be subject to a charge of $50.
Non-Smoking Policy
The Bird’s Nest Bed & Breakfast is a smoke free campus. Smoking and vaping are prohibited.
A cleaning fee of $250 will be charged to your bill for violation of terms.
Pet Policy
Pets are only allowed in the cottage and must be approved prior to booking.
COVID-19
Guests who display symptoms of Coronavirus or live in a household where someone else has symptoms must not check in. If a guest develops COVID-19 symptoms while staying with us they should immediately inform us and we will advise on the next steps to be taken in line with the latest government guidance and to ensure there is no onward risk of infection to other guests or hosts. If a guest is required to self-isolate with us beyond their booked stay they will be liable for any additional costs and expenses caused by the extended stay. This includes any additional costs of the impact on any follow-on guests if the room is not available to them.
