Charlotte Annie is a writer from Maine. Before dedicating her life to her creative work, she studied political science at the University of Maine and worked as a congressional intern in Washington, D.C. where she wrote and published non-fiction articles for various journals, magazines, and university presses. She later received her MA in English from Trinity College, before moving to Boulder, Colorado to work as a professor/lecturer of English and Creative Writing at the University of Colorado and the Community College of Denver. Her latest work, Eulogies for the Living is a celebration of life, both past and present. A work of non-fiction, it memorializes events and morns objects —paying tribute to the living, as well as the dead. Like her other work, the book is inspired by the Andrew Wyeth painting, On the Edge.
